In majority of the definitions, a Bluetooth keyboard is a keyboard which uses the Bluetooth wireless protocol to connect the keyboard to a mobile device, like a cell phone or a PDA. Essentially, any standard QWERTY keyboard which utilizes Bluetooth shall be considered a Bluetooth device, yet the most popular definitions limit a Bluetooth keyboard to a one which small, mobile device which doesn’t have its own keyboard.
The cordless nature of the Bluetooth keyboard that characteristically runs on AA or AAA batteries makes it quite handy and usable almost anywhere. In majority of the cases, the Bluetooth keyboard might consists of a touch pad too, is in fact one that can fold up when not in use.
